Healing From Trauma at Your Own Pace
Trauma doesn't just live in your memories. It lives in your body, your relationships, and the way you move through the world. Whether you've experienced a single traumatic event or ongoing trauma, healing is possible, and it can happen at your own pace.
My transition to coaching followed years as a social worker dealing with domestic violence and intergenerational trauma. I saw how survival patterns and old scripts keep people from their potential. Those patterns made sense when they were keeping you safe. Today they may be holding you back.
In our work together, you'll have dedicated time and space to explore what's weighing on you. I'm trained in EMDR and trauma-focused CBT, both highly effective approaches for processing traumatic memories and reducing their emotional charge. We'll go at a pace that feels safe for you.
If you'd like to keep learning between sessions, three books I often recommend are The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, What Happened to You? by Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey, and Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving by Pete Walker.
Healing and growth begin when you feel truly seen and heard. If you're ready to take the first step, schedule a free consultation and let's talk about what brings you here.
